"An 80-20 blend of Grenache and Syrah from 60-year-old vines, the 2015 Cotes du Rhone Villages Plan de Dieu Vieilles Vignes is a big, rich and slightly chocolaty wine from a warm site. It's full-bodied and supple, with velvety tannins that frame notes of raspberries, black cherries, leather and cocoa. Drink it over the next couple of years." 90 points

"Easily one of the top Cotes du Rhones in the vintage, the spectacular 2012 Cotes du Rhone Village Vieilles Vignes, which is a blend of 100% old vine Grenache, aged half in barrel and half in tank, sports off the hook aromas and flavors (garrigue, strawberry, spice), full-bodied richness and a seamless, silky textured that has to be tasted to be believed. Getting more than one “Wow” in my notes, this is one barrel sample I can’t wait to taste from bottle. It should be ready to go on release and evolve gracefully for 7-8 years."

Domænet råder over ialt 37 ha. beliggende i det sydlige Cotes du Rhone delta. Ejeren Daniel Boulle overtog domænet - som 4. generation - i 1986, hvorefter han straks iværksatte renovering af kældre som vinmarker.
Vinene blev meget kendte i slutningen af 1990erne, da det amerikanske vinjournalist Robert Parker slog vejen forbi på en søndagstur, og skrev så siden hen om domænet: ("maybe the richest Cotes du Rhone I have tasted"). Idag er vinene blandt de bedste og mest kendte Cotes du Rhone Villages der kan opdrives
