"The 2023 Sansofi is the most aromatic wine here, produced with a field blend from a north-facing vineyard at 1,350 meters above sea level in the village of San Mateo. It has a spectacular, elegant, subtle and nuanced nose of rose petals, fine spices and subdued minerality. It has a textured palate with abundant, fine-grained tannins, kind of a more polished Barolo, with pristine flavors, clean, precise and symmetric. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in open-top, 500-liter barrels, where it matured for close to one year. 1,800 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2024." 96 points
