"The 2023 Ikewen Tinto comes from different vineyards in the village of San Mateo, vinified and matured mostly in stainless steel, and it always has an herbal freshness. It has a bright ruby color and a perfumed nose, floral and spicy, with the fine smokiness from the volcanic soils. It has good depth and grip, with a gentle palate that is elegant, balance and nuanced, with energy and a mineral, tasty finish. This is approachable and ready from early on, but it should also age well in bottle. It has 12% alcohol and a pH of 3.6, in-line with the 2022. 10,000 bottles produced.
