"Eksotisk og animalsk
Solidt krydret mørk eksotisk frugt med lidt animalsk præg og masser af egetræ og ret ristet helhedspræg med lidt kaffe og kakao – mere styrke end harmoni.
Pæn frisk og velkrydret frugt med ok struktur og god saftighed og lang ret hårdt krydret eftersmag – eksotisk og rigeligt animalsk
Burde koste kr. 90,-"

"Top ten best value reds $10 & under for two consecutive years...
Strong crimson-purple; my, my, the colour does not send the wrong signal; this has really attractive juicy red berry/cherry fruit flavours and a supple texture; tailor-made for consumption anywhere, any time over the next year. Outstanding bargain." 90 points

"Næsten sort vin fra DownUnder. Shiraz i topform til en fin pris. Mørke bær og krydderier. Godt tilbud. "

The 2009 Morse Code Shiraz sees no new wood and just a little seasoned oak. Deep garnet-purple in color, it is intensely scented of warm blackberry, blueberry, eucalyptus and a touch of forest floor. High acid and plenty of juicy berry fruit with a low level of soft tannins are all in harmony on the palate leading to a long dark berry finish. Drink it now to 2014." 86 point
New Zealand International Wine Show 2010 - Sølvmedalje
Description: The Morse Code Shiraz is a fruit driven wine made with minimal oak contact to allow the fruit flavours and regional characters to be at the forefront. The wine has a lifted perfumed nose, showing an array of floral characters including lavender and rose, ripe cherry fruit and hints of spearmint. The palate is medium bodied and fruit driven with a nice depth of berry fruit, hints of liquorice and lavender, with a fleshy mid palate and finishing with a soft and supple tannin structure.
Winemaker's Notes: This new addition to the range of Henry's Drive wines; continues on the Postal theme and remembers the craft of the Postal Telegraphists. For decades their Morse signals, dexterously delivered across Australia's great telegraph line, connected us with the world and helped to save countless lives.
The fruit for this wine was sourced from the Estate's Padthaway vineyards. The vines are in various types of soil, including red loam, black loam and deep sand over limestone. A small proportion of the wine finished ferment in barrel, but the majority was un-oaked to allow the fruit to shine.
