Tatiarra, Heathcote, South Australia
Beskrivelse:
TATIARRA CAMBRIAN SHIRAZ
The Cambrian Shiraz represents a wonderful expression of the
Tatiarra Vineyard's terroir and is a classic, big Heathcote Shiraz.
The grapes for this wine were cropped at 1.6 tonnes per acre,
producing a wine of immense power and concentration.
Jay Miller i The Wine Advocate # 181 Feb 2009
"A barrel sample of the 2007 Cambrian Shiraz finds a more forward, glossy effort with rich, succulent flavors, excellent depth and volume, and a pure, fruit-filled finish. It is a pleasure-bent style of Shiraz that should drink well for at least a decade.
The Tatiarra wines, from the up and coming Heathcote GI, are made by Ben Riggs. Drink 2009-2019."

"Bright in flavor and velvety in texture, this brims with currant, red plum and star anise flavors, lingering on the finely tuned finish. Drink now through 2017. 700 cases made. -HS"

"The 2006 Cambrian Shiraz is a glass-coating purple color. It delivers an expressive perfume of spice box, pepper, blueberry, and blackberry. Made in a racy, elegant style, it has layers of ripe fruit, superb concentration, and enough structure to evolve for 5-7 years.
Tatiarra is a collaboration of noted winemaker Ben Riggs and Melbourne retailer Nick Chlebnikowski to make Shiraz from Heathcote's famous Cambrian soils. Drink 2007-2014."
